In the middle of October I visited my friend in Innsbruck. It took a long time to get there from London, but it was worth it. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lined with pastel coloured buildings, Innsbruck couldn't be more picturesque. The sun shone the whole time I was there and we spent all weekend basking in it. We drank Aperols at 360, cooked the most delicious pumpkin risotto, climbed mountains, read magazines, biked everywhere, hung out at student flats, watched the rugby, lunched at grand Austrian cafes, ate strudel, and went for long walks along the river. It was perfect.
